About Us
ClassBank is an edtech company dedicated to teaching financial literacy and fostering positive behaviors in K-12 classrooms. Our digital classroom economy platform allows students to open their first “bank account,” where they learn to earn, save, and spend classroom dollars. We believe in creating positive, inclusive learning environments that strengthen student engagement and school culture, while making financial education accessible for all. So far, we’ve empowered over 400,000 students nationwide, and as we continue to grow, we are excited to welcome our first full-time School Partnership Lead to the team!

About the Role
As the School Partnership Lead, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving ClassBank’s growth by managing our inbound sales pipeline and developing outbound sales strategies. You will engage directly with school administrators and educators, guiding them from initial interest to full adoption of the platform. As part of a small, mission-driven team, you’ll work closely with the CEO and CPO, giving you the opportunity to influence high-level strategy while shaping the day-to-day sales efforts. This role comes with significant growth potential, offering the opportunity to shape and lead ClassBank’s future sales strategy as we scale.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly to quote requests via email and phone.
  • Lead product demos for school administrators and teachers.
  • Track and update deal progress in HubSpot, ensuring accuracy and clear next steps.
  • Follow up on ongoing conversations via email and phone call with school leaders, maintaining engagement and pushing deals forward.
  • Own the entire sales cycle, from first contact to closing.
  • Work closely with the CEO to refine sales strategies and materials.
  • Proactively identify and pursue opportunities to upgrade schools from the free plan to Pro or School plans.
  • Develop and implement prospecting strategies to engage new schools and districts.
  • Help plan and execute conference events, from booth-set up, to speaker submissions, to lead follow-up.
  • Organize quarterly webinars with guest speakers to generate new leads.
  • Collaborate with the Customer Success and Product Development teams to ensure smooth onboarding and support.
  • Provide administrative and operational support as needed.

  • Sales experience is a plus but not required.
  • Familiarity with the school purchasing process.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to build strong relationships and confidently manage the sales cycle.
  • Highly organized with a strong attention to detail.
  • Able to prioritize tasks effectively and manage multiple projects.
  • Thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced startup environment and is excited about taking ownership of their work.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Willing and able to travel for business (4+ times per year).

Character & Disposition

  • Deeply aligned with our mission to support students and educators.
  • Collaborative and open-minded, with the ability to work cross-functionally with various teams.
  • Innovative thinker who enjoys finding creative solutions to challenges.
  • Driven by a passion for education and social impact, with a desire to create lasting change in K-12 education.

Why Join Us

  • Competitive Compensation: Base salary of $50,000 - $65,000, with commission potential up to $70,000 and annual salary reviews based on performance. Final offer will consider market data, location, experience, and internal policies.
  • Equity Package: Equity options are part of your compensation, giving you a stake in the company’s success.
  • Work-Life Balance: Flexible PTO, remote work flexibility, and a home office setup stipend.
  • Growth Opportunities: Join a close-knit, mission-driven team where you can make a direct impact on education and have a voice in shaping our growth strategy. As we scale, you’ll have the opportunity to take on increased responsibility and leadership roles.
