JD – FullStack Developer
We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer with expertise in the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building robust, scalable, and high-performance web applications. You will be responsible for developing both front-end and back-end components, ensuring seamless integration and delivering an excellent user experience.
Full Stack Developer is extremely important for TransFi's success, so your role will play a crucial part in achieving our business standards and objectives. We are expecting you to have experience and a big passion for Payments, Fintech and Web3, which is the space TransFi operates in.
You must be a high energy, entrepreneurially minded individual that has a strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and techniques. You should be willing to learn and work across diverse geographies and talent profiles. Web3 is constantly evolving. What you worked on last month may not be what you work on today.

Job responsibilities: What you'll do

• Design, develop, and maintain web applications using the MERN stack.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.
• Implement responsive UI/UX components with React.js.
• Develop and manage server-side logic using Node.js and Express.js.
• Design and manage databases using MongoDB, ensuring efficient data storage and retrieval.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure the continuous improvement of the development process.

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with the MERN stack.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including ES6+ features.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and third-party integrations.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Solid understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design.
• Knowledge of server management and deployment processes.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as in a team.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with cloud services like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Knowledge of web security practices and performance optimization techniques.
• Experience with other JavaScript frameworks or libraries (e.g., Angular, Vue.js) is a plus
