About the job
What if you can safeguard the future of all technologies?
Today, most of the systems are connected, automated, and remotely monitored/controlled. Be it Industrial or commercial, automation with connectivity has a huge impact on evolving sectors including HealthTech, Industry 4.0, Satellite, Defense/Military, 5G, and Smart cities. These are prone to cyberattacks due to various limitations in computation, bandwidth, and advances in Quantum computing.
MicroSec (www.microsec.io) is a fast-growing Singapore based company that has built an enterprise cybersecurity platform that protects against such attacks by facilitating mathematical and computationally optimized encryption algorithms supporting Post-Quantum Cryptography with Machine Learning. To protect from Zero-day attacks, the platform also enables a Machine-learning/AI-based Anomaly detection system that can run on the smallest microcontrollers to the largest supercomputers. An incredible team of various scientists and engineers from across the world has joined the incredible journey to build this technology. The team is looking for its next rockstar candidates to take the company to the next level and safeguard the future of all technologies.
MicroSec is looking for designers who can communicate complex information efficiently and enjoy diving deep into the technical backend of products. You will need to understand product capabilities, cybersecurity requirements, and backend interfaces to create designs that meet both user needs and security standards.
As a UI/UX Designer at MicroSec, you will take charge of all aspects of design from start to finish. You will primarily be responsible for the user experience across MicroSec’s entire IoT and OT cybersecurity product suite, collaborating closely with stakeholders to improve and iterate on existing dashboard features as well as defining flows & mockups for new features. You will further develop the overall design language of the MicroSec product suite to ensure a consistent, intuitive experience throughout, and work closely with product owners & developers to ensure reliable implementation.
Work will be carried out in an Agile Scrum fashion, with frequent, deliverable increments to the products in collaboration with others.

- Own the overall user experience across our product suite, continuously improving existing features and crafting new design elements.
- Create high-quality user interface artefacts, wireframes, mockups, prototypes for product showcase.
- Collaborate closely with product owners, developers, and stakeholders in an agile environment to translate complex cybersecurity functionalities into simple and intuitive interfaces.
- Partner with marketing teams to create branding assets and contribute to the design and maintenance of the company website.
- Testing and QA of the overall output by the Frontend team and verifying its accuracy.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of UI/UX design experience in an enterprise, preferably within an agile environment.
- Proficient in Figma, Balsamiq, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in Interaction Design, Computer Science, or related fields.
- A strong portfolio showcasing B2B projects, dashboards, and web-based interfaces, especially within complex, technical fields.
- Prior experience in cybersecurity, tech and AI/ML will be an added advantage.
Good-to-have
- Fundamentals in frontend knowledge (eg, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular, TypeScript)
- Experience in Web Design tools such as Webflow/Framer.
- Familiarity with software development processes & technologies: Docker, OpenAPI, Linux OS.
