Position Summary:
The Talent Acquisition Intern will work closely with the HR and talent acquisition teams to support various aspects of the recruitment process. This internship is designed to provide hands-on experience in talent sourcing, candidate screening, and recruitment coordination while contributing to the overall talent acquisition strategy of the company.
Key Responsibilities:
Sourcing and Candidate Research:
- Assist in identifying potential candidates through various online platforms, including job boards, LinkedIn, and professional networks.
- Conduct preliminary research on candidates to assess their qualifications and suitability for specific roles.
Candidate Screening:
- Review resumes and applications to create a shortlist of qualified candidates.
- Conduct initial phone screenings to assess candidate interest and basic qualifications.
Recruitment Coordination:
- Schedule interviews and coordinate communication between candidates and interviewers.
- Assist in preparing interview materials and candidate evaluation forms.
Data Management:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
- Generate recruitment-related reports and analytics as needed.
Employer Branding:
- Contribute ideas and content for the company's careers page and social media profiles to enhance employer branding.
Administrative Support:
- Provide administrative support to the talent acquisition team, including document management, filing, and email correspondence.
Learning and Development:
- Actively seek opportunities to learn about the talent acquisition process and HR best practices.
- Attend team meetings and training sessions to gain exposure to various aspects of HR.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or recent graduate).
- Strong interest in talent acquisition and human resources.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with applicant tracking systems is a plus.
- Enthusiastic and willing to learn.
