About Ava Protocol

Ava Protocol is a pioneering EigenLayer AVS (Actively Validated Services) designed to enable private, autonomous super-transactions across a variety of use cases, including DeFi, NFTs, and gaming. With a focus on enhancing decentralized applications, Ava Protocol facilitates scheduled and recurring payments, stop-loss orders, streaming rewards, and more. Our intent-based execution model triggers cross-chain transactions based on signals like time, price changes, and smart contract updates, providing developers with the tools they need to automate functions across blockchains, including Ethereum, while maintaining privacy and efficiency.

About the role

This is a highly technical role, that requires both strong computer science and communication skills. As part of our engineering team, you'll lead in developing product & API specifications, liaising with technical partners for integration plans, and engaging with end-users for their queries and feedback.

Key Responsibilities

• Master the API design of Ava Protocol automation and cross-chain messaging protocol.

• Craft detailed product specs to clearly convey concepts to developers building on our platform.

• Manage and streamline the integration process for connecting with other blockchains.

• Assist developers in integrating our automation services, such as recurring payment.

• Work closely with the founder to transform product roadmapinto tangible engineering plans.

• Monitor and communicate progress towards product milestones using tools like Jira, GitHub Projects, and Notion.

What We're Looking For

• A strong background in Computer Science, Mathematics or related fields.

• A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in a tech company.

• Preferably located in San Francisco or the Bay Area.

• A quick and adaptable learner, able to take on multiple roles.

• Deep passion for blockchain technology

• Proactive and self-motivated, with effective communication skills in English.
