Frontend Developer

Abihome is an ambitious start-up in the German graduation market and is the operator of the largest organization platform for high school graduates. The abihome platform and its apps make it quicker and easier to organize graduations and provide communication tools between students whilst offering an automated generation of yearbook layouts. Starting with around 5000 users, we grew our user base within one year to now over 150.000 students in Germany.

While we already are a successful company in the German market, we now strive to become a European market leader. You can play a central role in this endeavor: In order to continue our success story, we would like to launch abihome as a new international platform named “Gradoo”. For this, we are assembling an international team, which designs the platform and its app from the ground up, leveraging the newest technologies and know-how.

MUST:

• Proficiency in JavaScript, Typescript, ReactJS, Redux
• Good understanding of Functional Programming principles
• Experience translating mocks into CSS
• Know-how of interacting with RESTful / GraphQL APIs
• Knowledge about architectural and design patterns

BONUS:

• Experience developing backend APIs with Node.js (even better if you know how to use NestJS)
• Unit tests, code review, documentation
• Knowledge about Git, webpack and npm
• Familiarity with Agile workflow
• Open source contributions
